B196 Synoflam ‘S’ A water-based spray on flame proofing agent, suitable for use on wet cleanable fabrics. Tested to BS5867 (Curtains - Part 2 type B) and BS5852 (Upholstery fabric coverings - Part 1 cigarette, match and butane flame test). Provides a non-durable proofing which requires re-application after wet cleaning. Synoflam is not suitable for water-resistant or water sensitive fabrics or polyurethane foam fillings. Commercial applications should be tested and approved by a fire officer to ensure conformity. Consumer Protection - This product cannot be used to meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 which requires durable flame resistance of fabrics, filling materials and foams.
